I have been working with Cam and Karen for over 3 years now in the
Muskoka region and my experience has been terrific. These guys truly are
full service.
When I came to Muskoka to look for property I really had no knowledge of
the area and they were able to quickly get me up to speed on where to
buy and where not to buy. They listen to my needs and presented me with
properties that were in my range and to my specifications. In all cases,
they told me the positives and negatives of each property and allowed me
to make my own decision.
So far, I have purchased 2 properties and sold 1 and they have been
instrumental in every transaction. On the buy side, I have needed them
to really push hard to secure the deals. My first property had been sold
by the time I had a chance to review the property details, but Cam
continued to follow-up on the deal for me and about a week later, he
notified me that it the deal had fallen through and within 2 days we had
our offer in and consummated the deal. Later during the closing, the
seller got cold feet but Cam was able to follow the progress along, keep
me updated on how things were progressing and close the deal for me.
I really enjoyed the combination of both Karen and Cam different views
on each property as it gave me a balanced perspective for each
opportunity. Although Cam is always concerned about giving his view on
the construction side of things, and you should always get an
independent inspection, I really enjoyed getting his thoughts on the
building structure and bouncing ideas around with the both of them on
renovation ideas. After all, no cottage is perfect!
I also found that Karen and Cam have been great in helping me get set-up
in the area by being able to provide me with a list of contacts that I
was able to use to fully enjoy my Muskoka experience---lawn care,
builders, city planners, cleaners, stores ect. I know their role is not
to do all these extra items, but it is always great to know that when I
needed something beyond the sale or purchase of a cottage, they were
there for me.
I would highly recommend Cam and Karen!!!!!
